Swollen Kidneys

I'm 24 weeks pregnant. I found out what I was having at 20 weeks and I was informed that her kidneys were swollen. Has anyone else experienced this? I was told not to be alarmed. But I can't seem to not be!

I was told at my 22 week also baby had enlarged kidneys and fluid around the heart. Had a high resolution ultrasound  at 24 and 27 weeks everything was fine! Tech said baby is constantly taking in the fluid and was probably in the midst of peeing it out.. good luck hope it was just a bad timing of ultrasound

Hiya it's really common for renal reflux they just scan as precautions- 5mm normal and 10mm huge. How big were they? Most correct them selves and others just need a few antibiotics once born to prevent infection. Just means pee isn't passing out so good. They aren't in any pain with it or else they would be swelling up to the ten mm which is alarming. Try not to worry xx
