I drank a soda before my ultrasound appointments, and my little one is naturally very active. By the time I'd get to the appointment he was all over the place.
We even had to do one extra scan because at the second, he wouldn't cooperate with the tech and she couldn't make sure his spine was okay.

Same thing happened to me I went In at 16 weeks  to see the sex of the baby (husbands idea) and the baby had its little legs closed. 2.5 hrs later and a bladder full of orange juice and nothing. I had to go back at 20 weeks had oatmeal with maple syrup. That did the trick, lol usn lady said "well, everywhere I look theres a little rocket". Its a boy for our 1st and so thrilled. Baby will show, if all else fails maple syrup might do the trick
