Jenny- typically after the water breaks, if it's too early or labor doesn't start they'll start the mom on antibiotics to ward off infection -which is the one of the issues they worry about.

My water broke at 27 weeks and I was on bedrest since at the hospital for monitoring. It's ok. I'm 30 weeks now going on 31 weeks on Tuesday. The doctors induce me at 34 weeks.

It will be ok, bed rest from now on and the doctors will be monitoring you very closly! Good thing is at 26 weeks your baby can survive outside your body with lots of medical assistance! Stay strong and do exactly what the doctors say an if your not happy with what they tell you get a second opinion.

Just stay strong. Hopefully they can stop the labor. You'll he on bed rest and it will suck but hopefully they get it under control. If not yes your baby will be nicu for months but your baby has a good chance of survival. My thoughts are with you and your little one.
