To drink or not to drink

I know that youre only supposed to have like 200 mg of caffeine a day, so to prevent myself from going over, I bought myself decaffeinated coffee...whenever I drink it though my baby starts moving like crazy and Im beginning to wonder if this is worse. I know it has some caffeine in it, but ive been reading online and there's some people that say decaf coffee is actually worse because of the chemicals they use to get it that way. Has anyone on here ever asked a dr the answer on whether decaf coffee is ok?

I heard that decaf is better in terms of caffeine content.
but I also heard that diet coke has more caffeine than regular coke.

never know what source to read, cuz the more you read the more answers and versions you come across. as one of the above ladies suggested, try other options and see how your baby reacts.

I've restricted myself to one cup of regular coffee a day.

Try regular coffee and see how your baby reacts. If it is the same then maybe caffeine from coffee is too much for her and you will need to try other sources or slowly stop
