I shave bout every week i cant stand the hair down there its just a personal preference i have a big belly so i use a tall mirror works every time :) i just cant stand the thought of going into labor with a bush lol
I shaved until I could no longer see lol and now I get legs and Hollywood wax.!! So will be nice and presentable for the big day and also for myself.
I shave, but I'm not going to lie it's hard and now my tummy gets in my way. lol
They will shave your stomach if they decide you need a C-section, but they don't shave your pubic hair.
I don't think most hospitals still automatically shave women when they are in labor at least not in the US. If it matters to you you should do it yourself beforehand.
Why doent anybody wax? My hair down there barely grows now :) however having said that I will wax the little I have left till the end :)
I trimmed to 1/4 inch when 39 weeks. I didn't need 70s bush, but I also didn't want any razor burn or grow out problems. My midwife didn't care, but it Meade me feel better.
I stopped shaving after my belly got too big and in the way to see.
It would b best for u to shave but if u cant. A nurse will shave u when they are preparing you. Well that's what happened during my 1st pregnancy. I felt so uncomfortable that now I make sure I'm shaved. But they will just have u down there not the entire area
I shave about once a week and use the gel to prevent bumps or itchy skin. I found this to work best for me. No itching either when hair grows back.
Lol lol. I don't think it matters
All modesty goes out the door when your in labor. I tried trimming, but stomach was so big I couldn't see. The last thing you think about is how prestable you are down there. The PAIN is like no other.
I'm so glad I seen this, I was going to ask the same thing. I've been using trimmers for now so that's its not crazy but I've thought about getting waxed. Anyone else have a wax before birth?
My doctor told me (when I asked) that about half of the patients he sees shave. The key is, he said it in a bored tone of voice; he simply could not care less. I think you should do what you want without any consideration about being "presentable."
Most doctors recommend that you don't shave.
I used hair removal cream. If the doctors and nurses are gonna be around my business I'd rather it be presentable. I know some nurses that work in l&d and they talk about "stuff" they see...
My hospital actually recommends that you don't shave because if you cut yourself or got razor burn you could develop an infection down there. I trimmed it a bit so it wasn't crazy and out of control haha but didn't bother shaving.
When your in labor it won't matter lol
That's a fair question I use a trimmer so when the hair grows back it doesn't itch and u won't cut yourself
