Morning sickness

I'm six weeks pregnant and nausea is hitting me like crazy. I'm not sure if I can keep going to work like this. I can't stop vomiting and I'm always tired. Any advice?

I took ginger root capsules once or twice a day to help with nausea and eventually started drinking ginger lemon tea in the morning. Also, like mentioned above, an empty stomach doesn't help. I'm not a huge cracker fan so I carried around a bag of honey nut cheerioes to snack on.

Try not to let your stomach be empty. Carry around some crackers and munch on one or two every 30 minutes or so. Sucking on hard candies helps some people. I like ginger chews (found at health food store) and ginger mints as well. Peppermint tea works too.  As for the fatigue, if you get a break at work just sit with your head down and eyes closed and do some deep breathing for however long you have. Even if you don't sleep, you are at rest and you will get a bit of a boost from it. If nothing else helps with the nausea you can talk to your doctor about diclectin.
