Hormones will contribute to those feelings and lets be honest, we are our own worse critics. My skin broke out for a few weeks but slowly started correcting itself. Make up may make it worse. Either way you have a human being growing inside of you which is a magnificent process, hold your head up high, be proud :)

Because of your past struggle, I would also make sure your ob or midwife is aware. They can help you with the struggle.

Sorry you're feeling down! Maybe make sure you talk to your SO about your feelings. Moral support is critical. I won't tell you that you should feel a certain way because I'm not you, but try your best to embrace your body...remember it's NOT fat, it's just baby! :)

I've also been having a hard time with my bump starting to show. It helped to buy some cute maternity clothes that helped me feel more attractive and comfortable. I also have a hair appointment set. But, honestly, I just have to keep looking in the mirror telling myself I am beautiful. At first it was really hard to believe, but as the days go by... I do find myself feeling more attractive and even proud of the way my body is changing. I know that the changes are to help bring a healthy and happy baby into the world :) I hope this helps.. I hope you feel better!
