really low HCG levels

I am 5 weeks.. 6 om thursday and my HCG level is only 290.. this past Saturday it was only 200.. Ive only had spotting for one day but no pain. Ive read you can have low levels and still have a healthy baby. Has anyone had this issue but gone on to have a great pregnancy? ? Please help ease my mind.

It's not how high the the levels start at, it's whether or not they double every 2-3 days. Good luck mama <3

I'm 19+3 and my hcg is .22 the Dr was going on about how low it was and how they didn't know why it was that way.

The fact that the number dropped really is not a good sign. You may be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy or have already miscarried. I experienced the same thing. My levels were at 25 then 50 a week later, but I experienced spotting and my levels continued to go down until it was back to zero. If you have a good doc they should continue to take your blood every three days or so to monitor the levels.

I am also about 5week and my  levels are that low also. You can always do an ultrasound to better estimate how far along you are. All we saw in out ultrasound was the sack. So I'm not as far along as i thought I was. Good luck and best wishes to you .

Those numbers look very low, at 6 week's I was 19000. But I have read stories of women with low levels, also maybe you are earlier then you think
