Unwelcome Hands rant

Had my first experience with someone touching my tummy, when they weren't invited to and didn't ask. And it was a guy!
My husband plays hockey, it's Co ed, and we are pretty friendly. The boyfriend of the female captain is a doctor, and we talk during games. Last night, he saw me and said "oh my goodness! You are getting so round!" And went in for a hand feel on the tum and hug. It was awkward.  He's not normally the touchy type. And I'm only 18 weeks, I don't feel "so round" either.  I told my hubby, and he says well he IS a doctor. Not mine! If ya wanna feel, please ask!

I'm 16w and no one has tried touching my belly yet. If anything it's because I look more fat than prego right now. I started out about 20lbs over weight so I haven't gained pounds yet but the baby growth is pushing my belly weight out just making me look chunkier... I can see the self conscious side tho, I wouldn't want ppl rubbing my belly today, so weird, I imagine it'll be not wanted in the coming months too!

I had a guy do this to me when I was pregnant with my son.  I started rubbing his belly and asked him when he was due. He said please don't rub my stomach and I said why you rubbed mine. Lol he left shocked and speechless

Lol I've realized if people try and touch my stomach I just place my hands on my belly so they're in the way, or I place my purse in
front of my belly pretending to get something out of my purse so they can't touch it. I hate when they touch my belly

I have had people-men and women-tryjng to touch and rub on me since practically day one. It DRIVES ME CRAZY!! The only ones I WANT touching me other than me are my children and my boyfriend. Everyone else can keep their dang hands OFF. Problem is that even though my best friend made it 100% clear to all of our coworkers, they try to do it anyway...we work in EMS and everyone is like family (well, a dysfunctional one lol), so they basically ignore the fact that I hate it.

I really don't understand why strangers think it's acceptable to touch a pregnant woman!!! It's not your baby so hands off! I'm just 14+4 and not really showing yet but I'm trying to mentally prepare for it and not break anyone's wrists if they try it.

I also am 18 weeks, and for the last week, I have had a few of these instances. My problem with it is I feel fat, and feel like they are rubbing my fat, BC I'm not that big yet.  I'm about 10lbs over weight so I feel like baby is just pushing it all out:/  luckily mine were girls, I would have freaked if a Guy would have touched me.  I really don't want ANYONE other than my husband touching me.  Atleast not until its actually baby they are touching!lol
