I am am ice eater with all 3 of my pregnancies and never have been anemic and it's my only craving.
I was craving ice, slushies, ice pops, etc all in the beginning of my pregnancy, and it turned out to be that my iron levels were low so I started taking an iron supplement. It helped, but resurfaced around week 25. My doctor did a blood test and my iron level was slightly low again, even with the supplement. Since then I've been taking two iron pills a day (one in the morning and one at night) and it's been a lot better.
I am 29 weeks, 5 days and found out yesterday that I am anemic. I have not.been chewing on ice, but I have realized I have been eating a lot of icicle pops.
I am also an ice addict..have had this problem all my life because of anemia I curbed the craving by taking iron pills yrs ago but now it has resurfaced again in this pregnancy haha..i am taking iron supplements now and have been for a month and a bit but craving is still there :)

I love chewing on ice sometimes it helps with my nausea I've heard if you chewing on ice it's because you anemic I'm not sure if I am or I'm 26 weeks. As a matter of fact I'm chewing on ice right now lol I crave it all the time too.
