flu at 5 weeks

Hi,

I'm roughly 5 weeks pregnant and I have the worst case of the flu. My doctor doesn't open for another couple of days is there medications I can take that is safe?

My doctor told me the only safe medication to take for the flu/cold during pregnancy is regular strength tylenol. Not much relief. Keep in mind that you can always ask a pharmacist; they often know more about medication than doctors.

Go to a drugstore and ask the pharmacist on duty. They will know or can look up over the counter meds that are safe. Hope you feel better soon!
