Vision

I know that your vision can change while pregnant and you're not supposed to go to the eye doctor for that reason. I've been pretty nearsighted and wearing glasses since I was three (so 22 years now) and didn't really have any issues with my last pregnancy. However, I'm only 13 weeks along this time around and starting to have problems reading small print on the TV that's only about 8ft away with (my glasses on). I plan on talking to my OB at my next appt. on the 31st, but I'm just wondering if any of you have had any issues with your vision during pregnancy. I'm just afraid of the effects on my driving if it gets any worse.

After my first pregnancy one of my eyes got slightly less near sighted and the other slightly worse than they had been in the past. My eye dr had me wait it out through the pregnancy though since it wasn't disrupting my driving but he did have me come in to at least check it out his concern was if I couldn't read street signs/traffic signs. This time I'm 4.5 months in and I can feel them changing again, my contacts just aren't quite right. I catch myself squinting all the time.

Yes! I only wear glasses to read but my vision is definitely off this pregnancy which I did not experience with my 1st son. My doctor said that things should return to normal after I deliver. It's amazing how different things are from one pregnancy to another!
