Was she lying????
Today I'm 25 weeks and my son has been extremely active lately, that this made me think (I haven't been pregnant in 6 years) well my sister in law has a daughter who just turned 3 last month and she "says" she didn't know she was pregnant till she was 7 months which I find odd and think she was lying cuz I've been feeling my son move since I 20 weeks and at 23 weeks I could actually see my son push out on my belly. Also for those 7 months she was drinking, smoking cigarettes, and weed so now I'm thinking she probably just "acted" like she didn't know so she could continue doing these things! I just find it hard to believe she didn't know she was pregnant until 7 MONTHS!!!! What do you ladies think?

It's possible she really didn't know. Lots of things can interfer with feeling movement or not. A larger person may not for a while (I didn't really start feeling movement til 24/25 weeks), uterus could be tilted, placenta could be on the front or high and it blocks some of the feeling, some ladies still bleed a little and think it's their period, some don't show a bump or even lose weight and some don't have all the traditional pregnancy symptoms at all. Every pregnancy is different, even for the same person.
Of course drinking and smoking weed can make you "out of it" and that could be why she didn't feel things as well.

Well she is overweight so maybe that had a lot to do with it too and she said she had irregular periods and I think she thought she couldn't get pregnant cuz her and her bf were together for 5 years and always had unprotected sex and she hasn't got pregnant until after them being together for 5 years. I think she got VERY LUCKY that nothing was wrong with my niece even her brother thought maybe something would be wrong for how much she would party and you couldn't tell she was pregnant cuz like I said she's overweight so none of us knew until she found out
It's very possible to not know. It's hard to believe but some ppl don't have any indication. I knew someone who didn't have sex regularly and no symptoms until she went into labor. I didn't have alot of symptoms I took a test to prove an employee wrong. They kept saying I was preg well they were right lol I was about seven weeks when i found out if they wouldn't have pointed it out I wouldn't noticed for a while. No symptoms and irregular periods. I skipped my period for 3 months once and wasnt preg. This time I was lol
My mother in law said she didn't know she was pregnant till two weeks before she was due. She had no symptoms no weight gain. No tummy cravings nothing. She went for a check up and found out she was 38 weeks pregnant.
I dont think she wad lying I didnt find out I was pregnant with my 10 yr old until I was 4 months. Sometimes if your not paying attention to your body honestly you can think these movements are just gas. I noticed when I knew I was pregnant I put weight in quicker if I didnt know I probably would of stayed smaller.

I didn't know I was pregnant until I was in the hospital giving birth. It was my first pregnancy and she was mostly internal. I went from 125 to 135 during those 9 months and my periods were always irregular so I didn't notice a difference cuz I bled monthly. Didn't realize I was pregnant until the contractions started
I found out at a er visit I feel hurt myself hit my back I contributed missed period to health issues which had happened before and lasted over six months after my first son was born in 2009, weight Gian to me eating sweets junk food have never been able to say no to them plus was not exercising like I should have been, real bad back pain which I had always had even before my first pregancy and as a teen ( naturally huge titted no matter how skinny in waist i have been so the weight of boobs have caused back issues) but I fell of a friends porch hit my middle back on decorative garden bricks well few hours later went pee had bleeding I thought I had internal somehow hurt myself stomach felt weird on top of the blood when peeing did not feel like baby movement ( this is my second pregnacy so I should of looked more into it even though the signs could be explained away due to other reasons) my first son is five year old ) the Dr felt belly said I was pregnant baby was moving I had them do a blood test and a ultrasound to prove it turned out I was five months I have felt the baby movement since and I am now almost to my due date was a shock to me since I had been taking birth control even though it caused me to be sick to stomach all day I stopped taking it as soon as I had definite proof of pregancy so it is possible she did not know there are cases women find out late in pregnacy or not aware till what they think is just a er visit turns into finding out pregnant or they will be giving birth to a child that day. like this or senses was clouded due to drinking and smoking weed ( not everyone fuctions good sense, work physically wise when drinking and smoking weed and some do) or denial or just lying is possibilities too like other suggested
A friend of mine just had her baby about 3 weeks ago and NO ONE not even her or her mom knew she was pregnant. I talked to her the day before and you couldnt even tell at all!! Swear. She went to the hospital thinking she had a uti and they gave her a test n was like well your pregnant and left it at that. She was sent home then later that night the pain got worse and sge had him in her bed! It was crazy!!!
It's possible she didn't know. Ever watch the show I didn't know I was pregnant? Where women go to the bathroom and think they got a poo and they give birth lol? Anything is possible. Some women are not in tune with their bodies like the other.
I mean i believe its possible not to know but I think deep down a person knows but doesn't want to believe it.If a person hasnt received their period why would they not check.I have irregular periods but that didnt stop me from checking.
I don't think she was lying. There's this show on tlc called I didn't know I was pregnant. The title explains itself. Pretty much its about women who never had cravings, no baby bump, no movement, no morning sickness and they don't realize they are going to labor into they actually deliver the baby or get the news in the hospital. They tend to believe these pains are due to something else. Everyone is different and experience pregnancy differently.
some women just have really irregular cycles or if you get pregnant while on the pills (from missing a couple of days or anti-biotics) you would still get a period and they would keep your hormones feeling more normal.
and like @MamaMacMurtry women who are bigger might not notice as quickly, it is harder to see kicks - also obesity makes cycles irregular and can effect hormones

Wow that's super crazy! I thought maybe she was lying just so she could get away with doing those things

@ross yes it was , very. I went from a size 11 in jeans to a size 7 that time . I was feeling so sexy lol. And I was feeling great. Oh how I wish this pregnancy was a little like that one. I didn't show belly till maybe after 7 months. And it was the smallest cutest belly ever that fam would make fun of and ask me if I was sure I was pregnant cus maybe it was gas lol
Its not actually uncommon with unplanned pregnancies if she was a big girl to begin with. Also, if she was drinking & smoking weed-those cloud your senses & make you less aware. Its possible.

When I was pregnant from my second son I didn't find out till I was 6 months. Never had symptoms at all and my periods kept coming the same way. I lost weight and all. And the only reason I found out was because I went for a pap and the told me congrats . I then made the worse confused face in the world and they told me I was pregnant. When they checked I was already 6 months had no belly what so ever and they even asked me how come I had waited that long. I then explained and it was a shock to everyone lol
