progesterone suppos

This is my fourth pregnancy and I've had 3 miscarriages. My obgyn has me on 100 mg vaginal supposes of progesterone and baby aspirin. Has anyone ever been on these and had a successful pregnancy? My husband and I aren't having sex even because I've miscarried after sex (orgasms) twice now.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I feel different about it this time. Iv been taking prenatal long before I found out I was pregnant and found out the day I missed my period. Got my blood drawn for a confirmation and have been on progesterone since. It helps to hear others stories. Thanks for sharing

I had 4 miscarriages at weks 9, 16, 18, 27 and am now about 6wks prego again. Last june I had a baby girl and was put on progesterone shots once a week on the butt. I made it to 34 weks with her and healthy.Was scared the whole time even aafter she was born. It's a hard thing to mother these days. Im happy you've got this far and your lil one should be just fine. Your in my prayers

Yes they help i found out at 8 wks my prog was at 12 which was very low when at 8 u can start to miscarry so they put me on the pills for twice a day for 2 months n that was it for me I'm now 34 weeks with a healthy baby girl

This is the second time that I have been put on progesterone and it seems to work for me. I am currently 33 weeks. I pray the best for you

I am a little different, as I am pregnant for the first time. But at 27 weeks they were worrried about preterm labour, I have been on progesterone since then, now I am 34+1 and have 1 week left of progesterone. I think that they have definitely made a difference to my pregnancy. Good luck

I had 2 miscarriages and for this pregnancy my dr put me on progesterone. I am now 29w pregnant with a baby boy. I had the supposetories until I was about 15 weeks to keep my levels up. I think they made the difference for me. Wishing you the best!
