Hi everyone! I'm 7 weeks pregnant and ftm. I'm so confused and feel a bit lost as everything happened so quickly! I've just moved to a new city with my husband and was desperately looking for jobs when I found out I was pregnant. Now I'm feeling tired all the time and guilty for being pregnant without having a job. I really wanted to find a job not just for the money but I don't know anyone here and my hubby is always working away. Now some of my friends are telling me not to work and to rest instead. What do you think? What type of jobs are you working in that are not too hard during pregnancy?

I was a primary school teacher but don't want to stay in the profession. That's partly why I'm feeling so down because I am in this phase where I just don't know what other job to do and if it's worth starting retraining now if I'm going to have a baby soon.

I sit at a desk all day and even that is hard. Being pregnant is hard and working, no matter what you do is going to be hard. If I could have stayed home more, I would have but it's not in the cards for hubby and I. You just have to do it and tell yourself everyday that working is helping make a better life for your baby. Work and rest at home as much as you can! Good luck!

Sweetie I worked till my boys got here litteraly and I'm an in home nurse! You can do anything you personly feel up to I have had to slow down this time because every pregnancy is different but desk jobs and sales clirks are always a good way to go when pregnant and working with kids can be good if your into that :) and don't feel bad about anything your hubby will totally understand :) congratulations on your new baby!!
