38 weeks with popping sensation???

I am 38 weeks + 3 days, and I was sitting at my desk this afternoon when I couldn't differentiate between my baby stretching or Braxton hicks. So just as I started to rub on my upper left abdomen, I felt a popping sensation in my lower right groin. It didn't really hurt, but it scared me. My water hasn't broken, but I have a strong achy feeling all the way up my right side now, and I can't find a comfortable position to sit or stand in. Any ideas on what the heck happened? I see my obgyn tomorrow so I'll obviously bring it up, but just wondered if anyone else has experienced the popping sensation with a dull ache?

So I got checked today, and at first he really had no idea what the popping noise could have been. But after checking, he determined that he could feel her shoulder up against my bone. Interesting!

Did either one of you have any side pain associated with it? It's been dull, and my stomach has felt more stiff tonight.

I was walking the other day and had a popping sensation over n over. I don't think I'm leaking but it was weird. I'm 38 weeks

Thanks for your input! My water breaking was my first thought, too, but that was about 4 hours ago, and I haven't had any leaking yet.  Makes me nervous enough, though, that I'm going for a shower tonight and not a bath! lol

When I had a popping sensation it was because my water had broken but I felt alittle leaking shortly after.  If it wasn't your water then it was maybe just more stretching.  Curious to know what your doc will say,  keep us posted!
