Working

Ok so I know there are a lot of working moms to be out there.  How do you handle the vomiting and nausea and still go to and stay at work?  14 weeks and have been so sick all the to me its hard to stay at work or go to work. I started taking those anti nausea and anti vomiting medicine it worked for 2 weeks now im struggling again.  I'm constantly nauseous or vomiting.  I'm barely holding on to my job.

I had saltines readily available, sat near the bathroom, and my boss bought me some sourdough bread so that I could toast it and eat when I was nauseous.... chewing gum or having hard candy also helps with the nausea. .. ive heard preggy pops and ginger ale help too but I didn't try those... also taking your prenatals at night tends to help a lot too... my doctor prescribed me zofran and it worked (but for me made me really dizzy, which in hindsight could have been something else)... good luck! I'm 35 weeks and still have bouts of nausea. .. but it has gotten a lot better... also... eat smaller meals throughout the day and snack often

Thank you ladies! I've been feeling really weak and wimpy because I'm going home or calling in. I'm not used to that I used to rarely miss work. I needed your support ! I'll try what you've suggested

Unfortunately, I toughed it out. Medication and ginger ale helped. I also chew gum sometimes. It was very hard and still is hard to stay.
