a group meeting before your booking in appointment? :/
Hi if anyone else is in the UK I'm just wondering I just got a letter for my booking in appointment next week? I had this with my son but the day before this time I have a group meeting with the midwifery team I'm guessing with other people? Has anyone else had this what should I expect?
Im from manchester and im 24 weeks and I never had to have a group meeting and didnt have to have one with my 1 st pregnacey 3 years ago I just had a booking in appoiment that lasted 1 hour xx
I never got this, im in the midlands though and imagine things vary throughout! Wouldn't have minded this though... being a FTM I think this would have helped me if not only for a little bit a reasurrance!

I had a group meeting they basically tell you about your options about hospitals around you to help you decide wa hospital is best for you n you get loads of handouts (leaflets)
No the letter says I have a group meeting on the 21st with the midwifery team and others then my one to one with the midwife the day after? My son is 4 now but I never had one with him either?
Living in UK and just had baby nine weeks ago and never had anything like it. Group meeting..? Never even heard abt it. Hun r u sure is not just a midwife app. maybe they do such things bt its your choice if u wanna go there or not.. No idea. If u gt phn num call them and ask wts that all abt.. X
