aches & pains

Hi All.This is my first viable pregnancy. And i am 5 1/2 weeks.
I miscarried my first at 5 weeks in Feb.

Although the discomfort/pain of a miscarriage is different to what im experiencing now, i do wonder if its normal?

I havnt spotted or bleed but have pain to the lower right hand side of the pubic region. And im quite sore through the legs and lower back.
ive read that is the uterus expanding for growth of the baby. Is it normal to have it to one side rather than across the lower stomach?
Im not at all showing but i do feel swallen and when sitting up from a lying down position i feel like im squashing my stomach and its quiet sore.
My only worry now is that it could be ectopic?
Any advise will be appreciated.

Yea it's normal. I'm 6 weeks with my second child and I constantly feel like I'm getting my period and body aches like I might have the flu. My 1st baby is only 6 months old so is remember my first pregnancy pretty good and I didn't feel all this then.  But I sure do now. Even my c section  scar is sore. But good luck hope all goes with your pregnancy

I was the same lower back pain was one of my first symptoms nothing I did eased it but thought it was from the job I do. But then I got stabbing pains to my right side and period aches lower down my back and stabbing pains lasted about two weeks but my aches lasted nearly 4 they have all calmed down now. Also wearing anything over my lower tummy was really uncomfortable felt like I was being squashed I got told all this is normal and I saw my baby heartbeat on Thursday all ok. I'm nearly 8 weeks hope this helps.
