bloody show

Can some one discribe to me what my bloody show will look like?? Will there be bright red blood?Brownish blood? Does it always come out stringy with snot like discharge? And do u continue to bleed after?

The reason i ask is ive just been to the toilet.. number 2... and when i wiped there was blood, bright red blood but i couldnt tell where it was coming from and there was no more coming, when i looked in the toilet there was stringy bright red blood on top (sorry for the tmi) no more blood coming from anywhere tho?

I'm due on 4th jan, they probably won't do a sweep or anything until I'm overdue! Because of the holidays im not seeing my midwife again til the 2nd jan!!

Yeah im thinking it was from my bum! Its not like waters breaking and having to go straight to the hospital so its nothing to worry about. If i lost my plug then i lost it if i didnt then i didnt lol had my midwife appointment today n she said the same really, baby is in the right position for birth so itll happen when it happens!

I think its different colour for everyone. green, white, red.
Could be from your bum though if you had a no.2. I have irritable bowel and every now and then i do get a stringy sort of slime from my bum if it has been particularly bad that day.
