pre term labor

34 weeks today. Went to the hospital Thurs. Night BC I was having contractions. Got hooked up to the monitor, and sure enough it was contractions. Not consistent and they checked to see if I was dilated, and I wasn't. I had 10 contractions yesterday. But, they weren't consistent. What are the odds of me going into full blown labor sooner than my due date? I'm a 2nd time mother, planned c section...

I went into the hospital at 32 weeks having contractions every 2-3 minutes I was 50% effaced but only a finger tip dilated they gave me medicine to stop it and gave me steroid shots just in case baby came early but i have finally made it to 37 weeks (:

Yea we thought dehydration would be it but they told me when they tested my urine that I was basically completely hydrated.... O the joys of pregnancy lol

I am 35 weeks and went into hospital yesterday because I was having intense cramps  and tightness in my upper belly.. Called doctor n told me to go in since my firsr one (my 8 year old) was premature I could be going into preterm labor.. They checked my cervix n I am dialated 1 centimeter n had irregular contractions. Tuesday I went to doctor but wasn't dialated but baby head is down.. But I am dehydrated and dehydration causes cramping n contractions.. But as of right now not going into preterm labor.. Hoping my little one stays in until 37 weeks which is consider full term  :-) good luck I am too on bed rest until I see my doctor next week..

FTM: how many weeks do you have to be until you are no longer considered preterm labor?

If you aren't dialating then its possible to not go preterm...if you start dialating your dr will more than likely move your csec date.

O and I have had somewhat diarrhea 3 days prior to feeling contractions. (I know TMI) but apparently its normal BC your body is getting ready

Tightening everywhere, not just in one spot of my belly, low and mid back pain, cramping ( like a period cramp but worse), sore hips ( feels bruised ), headache, and a tad bit of nausea. But all that at once lol
