back pain and chiro

Does anyone get treated by their chiropractor for their pregnancy back aches? Is it worth it to go? Or will the pain just come back?

I go and do visits with my chiro weekly for adjustments if not 2x a month, I had a injury dislocating my lumbar at work and now being 26 weeks prego my pelvis is opening up and shifted to one side so it helps alot she doesn't use machines but after my massage and therapy I feel so much better and can sleep at night.

I don't do chricopractor I do massage.  it seems to help me more.   I found my back was alligned for the most part but my muscles because they relax during pregnancy they were the problem.   I also do a prenatal workout class to help keep the muscles strong.

I was a skeptic of chiropractors until I just couldN't take the pain anymore. I wish I would have started see a chiro years ago now. So much better. And around here, self pay for a session is around $30.

ive been doing regular chiro adjustments,  massage,  acupuncture and Pilates and haven't had any major pains during my pregnancy but im only 29 wks so not too big yet. im also on my feet all day, being a massage therapist myself so hoepfully everything im doing is working now and will continue too. i also did alot of work on my posture and pelvic floor before we started trying in preparation for these wonderful changes in my body.

Thanks for the feedback! I might as well go because I used to go before pregnancy. My work isn't so easy being in retail (costco) and every day after work get the worst back pains.

The more you go the better your pain will get though.  The reason why it still hurts after is cause your body is used to being in the bad position so when they realign it, your body isn't used to where its supposed to be. After a few sessions the pain will go away

I Went To A Chiropractor In My First Trimester Cause My Hips Were Off By Literally An Inch, And It Helped Some But The Next Day Id Be In Pain Again.. And There Not So Cheap And He Was Constantly Wantinq Me To Go And I Just Couldn't Afford It.
I'm 35W Now And OMG My Pain Has Been Worse Then Ever, My Dr Told Me To Go Back To The Chiropractor But Beinq Preqnant There Isn't Much They Can Really Do So I'll Still Be Pain.
So I've Just Kinda Suck It Up, Take Tylonal Hot Showers At Niqht, And Hopefully It'll Help You Some.
