ummm???

So randomly after doing something physical (sitting up, dishes, walking) all of the sudden I'll be gasping for air and I feel like I literally can't breathe for like 30 seconds and then I'll feel like I'm trying to breathe through a straw and I start sweating and my heart rate picks up...I'm 34wks tomorrow...is that normal? I used to be a smoker, I quit when I found out I was pregnant...could it be because of that? Idk. I called my dr and I'm waiting for a call back...any advice?

It's been happening for a few weeks now but I've started to notice that it's starting to happen more than once a day.

I've had moments like that.....wouldn't say I was gasping for breath but definitely short for breath with an evelated heart beat.  I was just standing and painting a picture lol!!!  My doctor said not to worry unless it keeps on happening and/increases in duration.

I'm wondering if that's what it is...I'm definitely not the type to freak out and I honestly don't care if its something I have to just suck it up and deal with...I just want to make sure my little guy isn't being affected when it happens. Ya know?

It could possibly be because you use to smoke. I've had shortness of breath durinv my pregnancy, but not to that extreme.
