What are they for? I read a lot of woman gets it, but what are they for?

I thought about doing it, but changed my mind. Although it would be interesting to see it years from now, like the other ladies said, where would I have kept it? We're military- could you imagine me trying to haul that huge thing around from base to base?! :) If you have the space then I say go for it, they are cute. Good luck and best wishes!

A lot of people told me to do it with my first and I thought they were silly too. It has no purpose but for decoration in a nursery. Its a waste of money and space if you ask me. Lol to each there own.

Lol...if I made a cast of myself I would have to clear my whole closet so it would fit...lol or mabe i should put it in the middle of the dinner table to see what ppl say...lol thats so funny to me I would never do that. But to each is own:)

I had a colleague telling me I absolutely HAVE TO make a sculpt of my boobs and belly with help of these cast thingys.. appearntly he and his wife did it and loved it.
I said, "that is great for you guys, but it's not for me so.."
and he said, very sure of himself like I had no idea what I was saying,
"Oh you will change your mind."
Funny how ppl think they know better than yourself huh?
I said, "I know I won't. I don't even know where I would keep half a body sculpture of myself and what purpose it would fulfill for me.. it's just not for me"
He seemed surpriced :)

And if this is not the same thing just ignore my little story! :D

If it what I think they are lots of ladies get these down for a keep sake of their pregnancy. Its the same kind of technique thats use for a broken arm of leg. Plaster is used to mould and shape your belly with plastic covering on the first layer to protect your skin. I think its mostly done in the third trimester as your bump is more of a shape. X
