big baby?

I am 29 weeks and got first measurement last week. Midwife says the baby is large measuring 32. She brought another midwife in for a second oppinion and they both wondered should they send me for a scan but decided to wait two weeks. I felt a bit freakish in how they looked at me. I am tall and well built but they said im 'all baby'. Any thoughts?

Thanks for these comments. Interesting to hear how things dont always turn out as suspected. Yeah everything else is testing as normal inc glucose. I guess nature will take its course. Thanks again.

Doesn't mean anything im measuring a little big and my ob sent me for a growth scan just to be sure and he is just fine. Weird that they didn't at least send you for a growth scan just to be sure.  Did your glucose test come back normal?

Every body type is different .... on my third pregnancy.  Each one ppl thought i was having twins.   For my first 2 pregnancy drs were so sure baby was 9lbs + i even had an ultrasound to measure baby. Both times they wanted to induce me early bcuz of size. I refused & said i want my baby to come when he/she was ready. My 1stbaby 7lbs 6oz 2nd 7lbs 15oz they were wrong for both! My 2nd my md caused me to go into labor by "helping" me start dialating when she chkd and put her fingers up there!! I was pissed....and as for my current pregnancy same thing. Ppl think im already due but i barely 28 weeks.
