bleeding behind the placenta

I have been bleeding for three weeks today and  im 11 weeks pregnant. my doctor finally seen me on fri and informed me ihad a bleed behind my placenta i figured she would want me on bedrest but instead she told me to go back to work. when i got home i researched it and all the sites i found said bedrest is best im not sure on what to do. everything my doctor said was opposite of everything i found i wanna new doc but not sure how to get one has this happen to anyone else please let me know

I also had this at 14 weeks, i thought i miscarried. Dr put me on bedrest for a short time and of course no sex. It disppeared on its own and no sign of anything and im 34 weeks.  You know your body better than anyone so maybe just try taking it easy. And possibly a second opinion if u feel like your dr doesnt have your best interest.

I had it too. I honestly don't remember how far along I was but the only restriction I had was no sex. It went away on its own and I'm 32 weeks now. It probably depends on how bad it is. Mine wasn't that bad. I didn't even have any spotting or anything. The doc should know what's best but it's your body. You do what you think is best for you and your baby.

My friend had a bleeding placenta at 23weekes n it was strict bed rest of her! But She was also leaking blood too so I'm guessing that's a factor.
