brown discharge

Hi, I'm 3 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Had a heavy bleed 1st Feb and since then brown discharge, its got lighter through the week but still there. Done loads of preg tests and all are positive! I have an app at EPU on 3rd march for 6 week scan.

I'm just worried, has anyone else experienced this and all has been OK?

Hi guys!

Thanks for your reply!

Bleeding and brown discharge sounds common! I went to the epu on the day I bled and they examined me and said coz I'm early they cant scan til I'm 6 weeks, I must have only 2 weeks when I went!

The examination found some clots which she didn't seemed worried about but said it could have been implantation or chemical pregnancy! She said if I'm still positive in 2/3 weeks come in for a scan. I'm doing tests every other day, I'm going crazy haha!

As I say its practically gone now the brown stuff so hopefully all is OK!

Xxx

I had a GUSH of blood Jan 19th and went to ER, they did an u/s which showed the heartbeat.
it trickled off and turned brown the next day up til just a few days ago.
I wouldn't be worried!
no cramps or clots you should be ok

Brown blood means it is old blood. Could be just from your changing body. This is what happened to me when I miscarried I had a very light brown spotting for several days followed by severe cramping during the last stages of the miscarriage.
