I'm 35 weeks and last week I jumped into my pool a couple times from the side. The first time I was fine but the second time it knocked the wind out of me and I felt like I couldn't get to the surface fast enough to get some air. It scared me. I won't jump in anymore now.

working at a pool & having medical experience are 2 TOTALLY different things.. jumping off the side into the pool is pretty close to jumping off a diving board? just sayin'. to each their own! ((:

YES, you can of the side of the pool to get in the water. I have worked at a pool for 14 years, just don't go doing any flips or jumping off the diving board. Please don't let people scary you with all these "you can't do this" nonsense.

wow, I would say no simply because you could cause a hard enough jolt to cause placental abruption.. that's why they suggest not riding rides at the amusement park, riding a horse, etc.
