Well just got home from doctors. Growth scan has my lil man at almost 8lbs and has some big feet. She did ph strip to see if I'm leaking fluid and I'm not but she said if the leak is small enough it doesn't always show up so I'm supposed to go to l&d if it increases. I've also dilated 0.5cm since Monday which she said is excellent progress and that my cervix feels labored (whatever that means) she is sure I will go into active labor if not by tonight then in the next couple of days. That my cervix is just perfect for labor. She could feel the contractions when she was checking me. I'm to head to l&d as soon as they pick up and once I'm at 4cm I will be admitted and whichever doctor is on call will induce me to keep things moving. Omg, I'm scared to get my hopes up. I'm so ready to meet my lil man and really hope he is in my arms by the end of the weekend. I'm supposed to walj walk and walk some more but also rest up and take it easy. I'm so anxious now idk what to do. Please let this happen.

Dnt get discouraged,she will be here soon. Doctor said she will probably be here by the weekend. You still have 2 more days to go. Maybe you should stop walking because she knows you are waiting for her and then when she knows that your not waiting is gonna be when she will decide to make her big entrance.

Wow this is depressing I've spent all evening walking and doing squats and contractions started getting stronger finally but now they are farther apart and I've stopped losing mucus. Guess another failed attempt at getting to active labor and she was so sure this was it she didn't even put me on schedule to be induced and I'm possibly looking at a near 10lb baby if I go to DD. I'm just going to give up trying getting tired of the disappointment.

My oldestddaughters father was puking and crying the whole time I was in labor nurses didn't know what to think they kept asking him would he like to lay down. It was horrible and doctor actually asked if he wanted to cut the cord I screamed no lol. My husband doesn't believe men belong in there when woman is giving birth.

Wow! Thats kind of mean he didnt support you like he should have. I just hope my husband dont pass out or get sick because he has a weak stomach lol. If that happens then they will be like well which one are we suppose to help now. She is having a baby and the other on is on the floor hahaha.

He will but he is the worst support with our daughter he slept and stayed on the phone and watched tv. They actually pushed him out the way and called in a male intern to be my support person.

Yep kinda sounds like that. I dnt have many friends. I kinda like to stay to myself. I have one good friend and i think the only reason we get along so well is because she is pregnant too. If you dnt mind me asking but how come your husband wont be with you?

Yea I know. I do have 1 but she isn't reliable and she is getting on my last nerve because she has been asking to borrow money for 2 days now so she can party and she still owesme. So I'd rather be alone than have someone who'd rather be out partying or bugging me to loan them money. Think it's time for some new friends seriously.

Awwww,:(  i didnt have a support person with my first 3 and i felt lonely afterwards because i really need someone there. But your a strong woman and you got this. Once baby is here you wont remember nothing and just feel overjoyed

Thanks and yea I'm really hoping but my body is already so sore and my legs feel uneasy when I try and walk. I hope it happens tonight though even though I won't have a support person.

Yay!!!!! Well atleast you got some good news. I would find everything active to do to things active.hopefully by the weekend you can share your birth story. Good luck mama. Cant wait till its my turn.
