coldwater and baby size

Is there any significant relationship between drinking cold water often and baby size? They say it leads to a bigger baby. How true? Thank u.

It's a Chinese thing -DS was born in Hong Kong and I was repeatedly being told that I wasn't allowed cold drinks "because the baby doesn't like it and you'll miscarry".  They even tried to insist that I had my glucose test drink warm!!  I refused and in the end they reluctantly agreed to let me have at room temperature, but they weren't happy about (and they were nurses!).  So yeah, it's just one of those weird cultural things with no basis in fact.

I only drink cold water and my babies have been normal size, both of them. Never heard of this myth

Something I've never heard of Hun, but I ate ice while pregnant with my eldest daughter and all my drinks are ice cold, I like ice :) 6lb 15oz was my smallest baby x

I think that's a weird myth I've never heard of before.  I always drink cold water, had 3 babies, first was 6 weeks early and 5 lbs 10 oz.  My 2nd was 40+3, 7 lbs 12 oz and my 3rd was 40+2 and was 9 lbs 1 oz.  Always drank cold water, I luke it better cold.

Accupunturists say that drinking or eating cold is bad for yourbody in a number of ways. My guess is it would make your baby smaller if anything

Just as long as the woman stays hydrated, the water can be cold, cool or hot.
