Earliest Ultrasound to determine Sex

I know most doctors determine the sex about 20 weeks. Atleast that's how it was for me about 8 yrs ago.  Had it changed since then?  How early can I find out what I'm having?  Super anxious

It really all depends on your Obgyn. Mine is very old school and she scheduled me for the 20 weeks ultrasound to be sure. There is a specific blood test you can get at 10 weeks, its called either the panorama or harmony test, and it will determine  the sex. But like I said it depends, if your doctor offers it and if your insurance covers it. You can also get an ultrasound as early as 16 weeks but through research, ive learned its better to wait for 20 weeks to be more accurate.

Some can tell you as early as 16wks depends on doc. I did a blood test that extracts the babies DNA from yours and you can get that test done at 10wks and results back in 2 wks. Its called Panarama test. Ask your doctor about it and good luck.
