I've also been 2 cm dilated and 50 % effaced for the past 3 weeks and nothing has changed. ... thats why I also decided to give up all the labor inducing /cervix softening methods- it just plain stresses me out and gets me disappointed everytime I have an appointment :(

Right here with you ! I'll be 40 weeks in 4 days and since 36 weeks I've been feeling exact same way you are! Been trying everything to induce labor and NOTHING! I finally gave up last Friday when I came down with flu -now I have this darn cough that won't go away and 2 days ago I got PINK EYE! Like really! !
I was supposed to have a membrane sweep yesterday -but due to the winter weather we had here in Texas my appt was canceled!  Now I have to wait till something next week to be called in. Really frustrating... but then again I'm trying to really be calm and not stress so much.... so I feel your pain Blkbeauty07 !
