I'm due in 6 days also. Try eating things high in fiber. I had a constipation issue as well for a while but kept on those apples and fiber and I'm going to the bathroom regularly now :)
I hope you get responses because I've tried prune juice, fiber cereal, magnesium, activia yogurt, apples and watermelon. All today.... And nothing.
I'm 37 weeks and had that problem at 35 weeks. It was terrible, and painful. Metamusil, lots of water intake and walking relieved my pain. It was recommended by my Dr and has been a tremendous help for me. Talk to your Dr and see what he/she recommends.
My dr told me to take docusate (stool softener) and it has been working great.
I will try all of thoes thanks lady's.
You can also try aloe juice. It's a natural laxative.
