could they be wrong?

31 weeks and after feeling my belly my midwife said baby was head up. But I only ever feel movements up by my ribs Which i thought indicated she was head down. Could she be wrong? I'm a small girl so I thought she would be able to feel but maybe not? Before attempting inversion do they do an ultra sound to double check?

It sounds like your baby is head down she might have just turned though but I feel a lot of kicking by my ribs and in the middle of my stomach and my doctor knew right away that she was head down.

My lo was breech and had her head under my ribs ( thats all I felt) her feet were overly squished on my bladder. They will do an ultrasound before they attempt an inversion. But also it is possible that your midwife is wrong. I had two on separate occasions try to tell me that my lo was head down and I knew that wasn't the case. best of luck

They will do an ultrasound before. If they try to do it without one, refuse without one.

There is still time for baby to flip. My dr. didn't check till I was 36 weeks.
