induce or not??:/

I am 37+ 5days and no  progress as per doctor.  He hasnt mentioned any dilation, effacement just that my baby is already in position.

I believe I already lost my mucous plug already. I've been walking and feeling slot of pressure down there already more than before.

I see doctor again this Wednesday and I want for him to induce at 39 weeks... I'm.just concerned what if my body isn't ready and it will be a hard labor me..what should I do? Should I wait or should I induce?

I definitely feel like your baby will come naturally when he or she is ready & when your body is completely ready for labor. I don't think it should be forced or rushed unless it's a an extenuating circumstance.

I was induced with my second baby and with this one ill def be waiting for him to come when hes ready like my first one... no issues with being induced i jus found it more special when i let him come on his own. Good luck hun

Most inductions do not end up as c-sections. I'm not sure where you heard that. A small percentage ends up in c-section....and sometimes natural labor ends up in c-section.

Id wait to go naturally when baby is ready. They say most inductions result in c sections so

I was induced with my first baby at 40 weeks. I was barely a centimeter dilated. I had a 17 hour labor...but it wasn't too bad. I loved being induced. I was able to plan ahead everything. Yes, the contractions are worse than natural labor, but hooray for epidurals! With my second I chose to be induced again. Wonderful experience again! I am currently 37 weeks pregnant and will love to be induced again! :)

Inducing will make your cc tractions more painful. I recommend trying to go into labor naturally.

It is only my opinion to induce if you are dilating. That is my doctor's rules. He will do it at 38 weeks, but i have to be making progress on my own. Made since to me. Lol. Good luck with no matter what you decide:)
