Does Walking Help ?????

Im just about 35 weeks I know it's still early, but will the increase in walking help dilate my cervix and get me ready for the big day ?

Yes it does. I walked the mall and the park and that night i went into labor :)

Thanks for the help ladies, I think we're going to do alot of walking especially being that we only have 5 weeks left until we get to meet our new edition to our family yayy !

My doctor said walking helps! And on my drive home from that appt today I remembered my last labor... that day my husband and I walked to our local pizza place and walked home! I woke up 4 hours later in labor lol

Yea it's also going to make labor a bit smoother. I walked & exercised a lot with my 1st. It helps prepare ur body & move that baby down.

ya im the same and iv been walking allot but I will be waking much more over the next few weeks!! :-) also an exercise ball can help too!

yes it does, my doctor tells me to walk (excersice) and im only 26 weeks along.
