Hello everyone

So I'm 30 and 8 weeks pregnant with my first child.  I'm normally a very healthy eater and will have a variety of protein and vegetables daily.  I know that eating healthy is the most important thing now than before as I'm expecting but I just can't seem to keep any of it down.  Every time I eat anything remotely healthy I feel nautious all day.  If I eat grilled cheese sandwiches, crackers, on and j I'm fine.

What do I do? Am I hurting my baby?

Thanks

Im the say way... this is my theory.  Its an overload on vitamins.   Prenatal vitamins are great but its better to get nutrients from food. I only take vitamins every other day but now I can eat veggies, protein, and fish now.

Not saying im right. But when I reduce prenatal vitamin intake I can eat better foods.

Hi, congratulations! :) I was really sick at the start of my pregnancy too and was eating badly as it was all I could stomach. The main thing is to eat what you can, so don't worry about it- baby will get the nutrients required from you. Just keep taking vitamins (I found it better to have them at night or they didn't stay down either). Once the sickness passes you can get back to healthy eating :) good luck, I hope you have a lovely pregnancy!
