I'm pretty sure a doula is not covered by insurance. my friend is a doula and charges anywhere from 500 and above depending on her services.

I had one with my first and highly recommend it. Even though I ended up in a csection my doula helped make sure my wishes were observed and carries out. In had insurance through the state so we paid out of pocket. Not Sure about other insurances. Also she helped me with latching my baby. She was worth every single cent.
