for those where castor oil worked
What happend ? How did it start. ? Im about to take it! Im 40+4days
Midwife approved it last time and is was approved by every Dr or midwife I have had. This is baby six and I only worry because the more kids you have the faster labor is. I think I should see what she says about if it speeds up labor if she thinks I will have time for antibiotics.
I took it n never did I had diarrhea or have my baby poop inside of me.. I was almost 40weeks!
My doctor said not to take it too.
You really shouldn't take it because you are past your due date, it could cause your baby to have a bowel movement which can be very dangerous
My dr said not to take it. I am 40+5.
It just starts contractions and you need to walk around and try to keep them coming. It works by irritating the bowel which irritates the uterus which causes contractions. I worked with two of mine and I wish I could take it with this one. I have gbs and have quick labors to begin with and I am afraid if I take it this time I may not get to the birthing center in time to get my antibiotics. I plan to ask my midwife next Thursday at my appointment if she thinks it would be a good idea to take it.
