20 week US tomorrow...worried

So I have been waiting for this ultrasound for what seems like for ever...But what is making me nervous is that I will be 20 weeks tomorrow and I haven't felt any movement. I feel gas bubbles and I know its gas bc I will have gas after I feel the bubbles pop. And after I eat I feel my food digesting. Or atleast that's what it feels like. But no kicks or butterflies. When I go to bed at night I feel what seems to be my pulse in my upper abdomen near my sternum. So maybe that's movement. IDK as this is my first. I just hope everything is okay tomorrow when they so the ultrasound. I don't think I could handle it if they found something wrong. Thanks for letting me vent :)

I'm in the same boat as you hun. I go for my twenty week next Thursday and you've basically described my most recent fears. Try not to stress cause that's definitely not good for you or baby. A friend of mine said she spoke to her midwife about belly and back sleeping and she was told not to worry. That your body will wake up if there's an issue. Kind of like fainting when blood flow is low your body would alert you if you were cutting off circulation to your lower half...normally in the form of leg cramping or spasms strong enough to wake you right up.
When it comes to movement I've felt the same way. Moments when you think you feel something but then not sure. I think once it really happens you'll definitely know. Then if its always kicks in the bladder or ri s you'll wish it wasn't quite so often :-)
Good luck with everything!!

Yes I am in the plus size area. I've worried myself because I have a body pillow I sleep with but still end up waking up half way on my stomach...so I'm always nervous that doing that effects the baby.
