The doctors should put in a cerclage.. Its for an incompetent cervix when it measures below average, which is under 3cm typically. I had one put in like at 14/15weeks and just had it removed yesterday at 37wks. It does hurt once the baby gets heavier but they want you to stay on complete bed rest. I am so thankful I got it put in so I can have my baby stay in for so long. Good luck to you, its not easy but definitely worth it.

How do they check that? Is it by u/s or by vaginal exam?
