Hospital bag

First time mom and just wondering what I should pack in my hospital bag. Still have 6 weeks to go but would like to have that ready and put aside to get it out of the way. Any help/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm usually the last minute over packer type even when traveling. So trying to get a jump start on this :)

I'll be doing the hospital tour on the 12th so I'll be sure to ask. Thanks!

Flip flops for the shower. Hospital showers are gross.  A nursing bra if you plan on breastfeeding.a nightgown for PJs because they will be checking your lady parts every hour or two and easy access means less undressing and pain for you. Depends are also awesome. Maxi pads. Car seat for baby. Nursing pillow, snacks, camera, baby book, list of names (if you haven't chosen one yet).

I packed pajamas and nursing tanks for me, slippers, something to wear home on discharge day.  For my husband pajamas and clothes,  for baby a few outfits and blankets and hair bows.
Soap, toothbrushes, shower stuff, and some snacks- granola bars and popcorn and stuff like that

Bring something to keep ur self busy between contractions ( suggestion from my birth class) also might want to bring messaging items if ur hospital allows and you are having a natural birth

I keep mine simple because the less you have to remember to take and bring home the easier with all the chaos! I packed an overnight bag of toiletries and clothes for myself, a baby outfit, phone charger and camera. And my husband brought our laptop so e could watch some of our shows the next day. The hospitals usually have diapers and blankets for baby and often even showering stuff for you.
