I found mold in the room im turning into my babies room when we went to paint. It was a mission replaceing part of the dry wall but We used peroxide for the inside of the wall then we shampooed the carpet with vinegar.
Thank you so much! Ill be using vinegar. You've put me at ease.
There's absolutely nothing great about bleach. Please don't use it! It doesn't kill mold anyways. It will ruin your lungs especially if accidentally mixed with other caustic chemicals or even pee.
Where would I find the scientific research about drinking borax?
White distilled vinegar. We used that to remove mold from some wood in my house. Carpets are porous, so you want something that can soak in. Plus, the fumes won't bother you.
Borax is actually is actually completely safe to drink diluted. It's been found to have lots of health benefits. It's also a good cleaning agent and is all natural.
Did u really mean u drink borax? I really hope I'm miss understanding that lol since that's probably not so good for you especially being pregnant!
Do not use bleach! Bleach is super and great for many things, more effective than what the hospital uses, but it does not kill mold and will ruin your car rug. Borax kills mold, it's cheap, non toxic, no fumes, etc. I even drink a pinch of it in water every so often. I am allergic to mold I totally get your freaking out and don't worry about thus far, mold spores are everywhere!
You could take your car in to get detailed if your worried about any fumes.
I think your just freaking out for nothing tbh. I found an apple core in my car that was mouldy. I think we over think things and panic ourselves too much at times. Clean it with soapy water? possibly vinegar in warm water? gets most things out
Use bleach but it will turn the carpet an ugly color but it will get rid of it. And as long as you leave all the doors open its fine.
