@ heycutie, do you know what caused your cervix to open up? Im very sorrt about your previous loss. I too have had 2 m/c but dont think it was due to this isusue. I ask because I'm very curious. I've never heard of this procedure until this post.  Sorry if I intrude. Plz msg me if you wish. Thanks in advance for your time. Btw: my pregnancy is at high risk as it is so I can't have ANY type of intercourse. Really *****! (get it?) Lol

It will definitely help with keeping baby in ...they may suggest the 17p(progesterone shots) shots also I get them to to be able to carry full term..but previous to having surgery we had sex very lightly an not pushing all the way in because doc already told after its a no go ..

I just asked this question in another chat but this is my third pregnancy and I went into labor at 5 mths and 4 mths because my cervix complete open with no warning. With my recent pregnant I'm 6wks and I'll  get my cerclage out in at 13 weeks. I'm so scared but the success rate is 80-90% so I'm confident I'll be able to carry full term. My boyfriend and I stop having sex as soon as we found out I was pregnant don't want to take any chances but he's miserable and moody. Head can only so much lol
