How accurate are blood test

If it's negative you are fine.. nothing to worry about. They have lots of false positives but not heard of many false negatives... I have not heard of any anyway.

The quad is just a screen. Something may come up positive but that doesn't mean yoir child has what ever issue wrong with it. It just means you are at a greater risk for the child to develop something. I've had many patients who have had positive screens but a perfectly healthy baby.

It came out negative my doctor said but i still worry..

If a positive result is shown it does not mean baby is sick. It just means that it could be possible and further testing is offered... usually more invasive and risky to baby...
