How long is the glucose test?
I have an apt at 10:00 am on monday  
What should i eat ?

It's an hour. You drink this liquid and wait an hour, it tastes like flat orange pop loaded with sugar and you have like 10-15min to finish the drink.

They rold me not to eat or "fast" for two hours prior to my appointment. The first test is usually a 1 hr test. You drink the liquid they give you, wait an hour, then get your blood work done. So it is a lengthy appointment compared to others, and if you need to have the second test done it is a 3 hr glucose test. (Exactly what it sounds like)

It takes an hour and you can eat breakfast before your test just try and avoid anything heavy in sugar :)

She never told me to eat or not to eat .  
All she said was it was going to take a while

If you're doing the one hour initial screening,  you can eat something for breakfast but don't eat a huge sugary meal.

"Fast" means don't eat before you come in. Did they tell you not to eat?
