High risk NT - Amnio or Harmony test?

Hey, I'm 27 y/o and I just got my results back from my NT ultrasound. I was told I am high risk 1:21. My husband and I are trying to decide whether to have the Harmony test, or just go straight for the amniocentesis at 15 weeks. Anyone had better results after further testing? What would you recommend? I am currently 12 weeks 6 days.

My doctor told me that the Harmony test correctly identifies Down Syndrome in 99% of cases whereas the Amnio test is only correct for 85% of the time plus the Harmony is way less invasive. The amnio does pose risks of miscarriage thou it's relatively low.

Thanks ladies, it's such a hard decision to make. I would prefer the less invasive test. But would really like a definite yes or no.

I think that's a fairly low range. I honestly think false alarm, my oldest has trisomy 21 and I was only 19 having her and my numbers were 1 out of 1400 a got a amino done and a pub done both positive my opinion try the less risky approach. Cause I went to labor two weeks later I did not know I was so young I wished they had these sites back in 2000

Personally I would stick with just blood tests.  With the amnio. There is a risk of miscarriage.  Granted the percentage is low but I would not take that chance.if there is a health problem will it really change how you feel about your baby? Or will you love this baby no matter what? A lot of the testing that they do is not a guarantee it is only a chance. Good luck to you mama.
