hearing pad?

I'm 6 weeks along and have cramps. Has anyone asked their doc if it's OK to use a heating pad? Tylenol is OK but heating pads work best for me for when I'm not pregnant and have menstrual cramps.

I was told to keep the heat away from my Torsi.  Period.  I always used a heating pad before I got pregnant, but won't touch it now.  Anything that raises the body temperature too much is dangerous for the babies development (what my doctor said).

I use a heatibgg oad on my back frequently. I use the med setting, for about 10 minutes. You just don't want to overheat your belly, or core temp.

My doctor told me it was ok to use on my back just on the lowest setting for 10-15 minutes tops.

I was told not to put a heating pad on my belly because the heat causes the amniotic fluid to bubble and overheat. To be sure, ask your doctor.
