This could be it. I am 38 weeks and 1 day. Yesterday I was 3 cm dilated and at least 50% effaced. I forgot to ask about that but two weeks ago I was 50%   so I am sure I progessed. The doctor swept my membranes. Yay. I have had a lot of cramping. Some bleeding. And lost a ton more of mucus plug. Now I am have contractions about every 15 mins. So excited and ready to go. :)

Yay!! This is so exciting!! I am asking my doctor Monday if he can give me a sweep!! I hope it works for me..good luck mommies!!:) not much longer:)

Thanks. I am beyond excited. :) And no it did not hurt. It was slightly uncomfortable but since I was already open to a 3 cm it helped a lot. He used his fingers and stretch my cervix open more and that was a little pinch. And then he used his finger to push my water bag away from the wall and I just felt his fingers moving around.. no pain. :)

Yay!!! More than likely contractions wont stop and will just get closer together :) wishing you a safe delivery

I'm jealous! I'm due today & no sign of baby..  
Btw, did it hurt when you got your membranes swept?
