I'm 26 weeks and I've had herpes for 10 years now.this is my first child. Will my baby be. Ok for a vaginal delivery??

U will b fine...a close family member of mine found out she had it when she was prego...she had a vaginal birth...just take your meds as prescribed...I know it hurts but u will b okay...doc will tell u everything u can & cant do...keep your head up...#praying4u

I'm in the same boat as you....I had my first baby by natural birth, you just have to talk to your doctor so he/she can give you treatment to prevent brake outs and be able to deliver your baby normal.....my doctor told me he will start my treatment @ 35 weeks so make sure you look for any breaks out other than that you will be fine......When your baby is born make sure you don't feed him/her with your same spoon and things that can transmitted him/her the disease. ....good luck
